Narcissus “Lyrids” 8W-Y (unregistered)

A short plant of relatively uniform scape production. Better for front row garden planting as a border or in containers. A bright, light gold-yellow, the corona has minimal to no fade even in heat waves. The floret form is similar to that of the much larger ‘Mont Crenel’, however with a smoother rim edge and less reflex. As a late winter season bloomer, the dark blue-green foliage has better frost resistance. Florets are of average size, with a very light fragrance. Of unknown fertility. Collected from an old garden site in the Natchez, Mississippi area.

NOTE: The Sara Van Beck tazetta and paperwhite daffodils are generally not hardy in cold climates with freezing winters. In frost-free climates (zones 8-11) these bulbs may be safely planted outdoors in autumn for late winter flowers.
