Narcissus “Euanthe” 8W-W (unregistered)

An older floret form of a more starry aesthetic, similar to “Luna’s Friend Io.” The creamy butter yellow corona fades to white in about three days or less, depending on the weather. Its broad leaves and stout stem produce one of the few short-medium height plants. As it blooms high winter season (mid-December), it has good frost resistance. The florets are of average size (around 35mm) and are very lightly scented. Unknown fertility. Collected from an old garden site in the Natchez, Mississippi area.

NOTE: The Sara Van Beck tazetta and paperwhite daffodils are generally not hardy in cold climates with freezing winters. In frost-free climates (zones 8-11) these bulbs may be safely planted outdoors in autumn for late winter flowers.
