Narcissus “Erinome” 8W-Y (unregistered)

Another of the “starry” aesthetic clan, this medium-tall sized plant holds its well-formed truss nicely. Though an average sized floret with a smaller corona and narrower petals, the overall balance of form is pleasing. The golden yellow corona fades a bit with age, but overall, the fade doesn’t affect its sense of color and visual impact. Though its plant stature is quite uniform, it doesn’t have the same boldness as does its much larger compatriot ‘Mont Crenel’. Blooms high winter season, around the latter half of December. Produces a very few fertile pollen grains. Collected from an old garden site in the Natchez, Mississippi area.

NOTE: The Sara Van Beck tazetta and paperwhite daffodils are generally not hardy in cold climates with freezing winters. In frost-free climates (zones 8-11) these bulbs may be safely planted outdoors in autumn for late winter flowers.
