Narcissus ‘Astrid’s Little Comets’ 8W-Y, 2026

Zooming along like a little meteor shower, these guys are smaller with a more airy feel than ‘Tête-à-Tête’. The strongly reflexing pointy petals give a distinctive sense of motion to its aesthetic. Strong growing, they make a great border planting or container plant. Blooms in high winter (mid- to late December) with relatively good frost resistance. Multiplies well, but should be planted a bit deeper for larger scapes. Offset bulbs will produce a secondary bloom as bulb matures. Very lightly fragrant, of unknown fertility. Collected from an old garden site in the Natchez, Mississippi area.

NOTE: The Sara Van Beck tazetta and paperwhite daffodils are generally not hardy in cold climates with freezing winters. In frost-free climates (zones 8-11) these bulbs may be safely planted outdoors in autumn for late winter flowers. In colder climates with freezing winters, they are easily grown indoors for flowers during the winter months. Learn more at www.heirloomtazettas.com.
